It’s finally just around the corner — the start of our Summer League 2020!

We trust that you’ve all stayed safe and well during the Coronavirus crisis, and we’re sure that you’re just as eager as we are to get back on the banks… so it’s time to remind you that our first match of the summer is taking place on Sunday, 7th June 2020 at Heronbrook Fisheries.

Get your gear ready, and we will see each other for some tight lines very soon.

ERB to hold its first virtual fishing league in light of the recent coronavirus crisis.

The fish are starving so should be a good bit of fun and we’re expecting some great weights.

This match is a pool only match for members and 100% payout to beat a bit of boredom.

Weights will be done on text order live using a number Generator, and the number you receive from generator will be your weight in lbs.

• Highest weight wins
• Prize monies will be paid to top three
• The random numbers will be set between 1-200

First match of Winter League takes place this Sunday at Lloyd’s Meadow Badger.

We have a great turn out of 17 Anglers, for what looks like being a good day.

Bernard Wall from ERB starts to Defend his title with tougher competition, but Ste Boland had other commitments to hand, (Shopping) so was unable to attend to defend his Title at Dog and Partridge. But will be back next match if allowed. Below is a list of rules from venue that must be adhered to:

Only 10 days until winter league starts up again, already a good response to the program, and looks like being a another great season.

First match being held on Lloyd’s Meadow – Heron lake.

This is a mixed fishery with a good stamp of fish also some big carp to shake results up.

Both the Wall brothers have signed up, who finished first and second last year.

Dog and Partridge once again join us this year to get the numbers up on the bank , these guys have had some great results this year and are growing in confidence.

Ste bagger Boland has been selling off his old tackle, to make room for all his new stuff as he prepares to challenge for top spot.

Our honours board is an overall round-up and celebration of the full season’s achievements and champions!

At the end of every season, after the very last match result is published, the honour board for that season will be automatically generated.

Summer League is finally over and another good season was had, a few ups and downs this year but all adds to moving forward .

New lads put in a cracking performance and raised the level of the club making it a lot more competitive, will be a few changes next season to keep the stability of the club but that will all be put forward at end of winter League.

Daz Gleave the new guy from Irlam shown the club what he is capable of smashing the overall weight record by 200lb and becoming club champion 2019 “Great start Daz”

Also the Wall brothers had a great first season both finishing in the top Four in the league.

So the day finally arrived, four clubs battling it out to take the coveted Interclub Challenge Trophy.

Not the easiest days fishing with most Anglers struggling to get early bites and long periods of drought. The favoured pegs were the mid twenties with Choppy on peg 26 doing it proud taking the overall win.

Pegs on the bends seemed to be where all the weights would come from today, but not producing the 100 LB. plus we were expecting.

All said, another great event in the Annual Calender.

Big Thanks once again to ERB for organising the Event and to all the Anglers that took part.
