Website Updates & Bug Fixes

An update has been pushed to the website to improve page load speeds and prevent future down-time.

The merchandise shop and angler log-ins have now been removed for the foreseeable future. This should resolve any issues faced when trying to access the website and match results.

Other notable bug fixes and improvements:

  • Page load speed dramatically improved.
  • Downtime should be much less, if any at all.
  • Added ‘All-Time Top 10’ to Biggest Fish page.
  • Hidden peg numbers on match result pages unless mobile devices are in landscape mode (improves readability and hides unimportant info on smaller devices).
  • Fixed header image displaying incorrectly on some mobile devices.
  • Fixed announcement and upcoming match bubble icons overlapping logo on some mobile devices.
  • Fixed photo gallery on match results pages – images now display with lightbox mode.
  • Fixed season awards being applied to wrong angler accounts (it was failing to apply wildcards in some instances when calculating league winners at end of season – publicly visible league standings were always correct; however the awards applied to individual anglers profiles were incorrect).
  • Fixed fatal error when trying to view league tables with guests included.
  • Minor CSS & Style Fixes to improve overall appearance.
  • General database clean-up and consolidation (Colin’s a little bit dim; creating many duplicate entries).
  • Complete physical backup of website and database.

Migration to new web host!

We are in the process of migrating from our old web host over to EUKHost, a much more reliable provider. In the meantime, you may notice some temporary website errors or run into problems when trying to navigate the site.

Please report any issues you have to the club or use the contact page.

Anglers should be assured that all angler data, and previous match history is fully backed up. The leagues and leaderboards are safe in the event of any kind of hosting emergency.

We expect the migration to be fully complete and resolved within the next 3-5 days.
