Match Analysis/Report

1st match of winter league took place at Hall lane Merlin, this is a great venue with plenty of big fish. The day turned out to be a tricky match with the weather being the key factor to this, very cold none stop rain and plenty of wind. 13 anglers turned out to brave the weather Three from our neighbouring club dog snd partridge But it was ERB Adam Smith who controlled the match with 53lb 5oz in the net, 2nd place fell Shaun McEwan who put in a great performance on the other side of the the lake to finish with 41lb 13oz bagged. ERB Simon Dickinson of Catchy Bait finished 3rd with 32lb 11oz which put simons name on the podium after a long awaited time . Well done to all that fished on a shocking day This weeks pairs was won by Adam Smith and Colin Newton
