Match Analysis/Report

Match on sycamore was a tricky match as both lakes fished completely different Pegs 1-8 was on Silverbirch and 9-16 was on Rowan, Weather was very hot and the fish were not interested much in feeding , Rowan out classes Silverbirch but that’s the look of the draw and give the league a big shake up. Darren Gleaves who was on the top end of Rowan worked hard to net a remarkable 105lb to win the match, and Paul Leonard fished well to win the lake on Silverbirch with 9lb 4oz Section winners were Paul Smith 9-12 Carl Farr/Neil Hardiker 5-8 Ryan Hamer 1-4 Shaun Dullaghan 13-16 This match was also the preliminary match for the Knockout Cup only 13 qualified due to people blanking Chris Baylis and Andrew Openshaw
