Match Analysis/Report

Final match of summer League 2017 was held at Lloyd's Meadow fisheries yesterday, and a very hard match it proved to be with heavy down pairs throughout the day. It was Bury lad Gary 'Shallow' Thomas who kept his nerve and beat his way through wind and rain to net 52lb 5oz of carp mainly using pellet. Thanks for your support in making another great exciting summer League. Congratulations to the winners. Summer League is now finally over for 2017 had some great ups and downs, been full of activity, from poles snapping to people falling in the water, overall an enjoyable season and great to be part of such a good club and great set of lads. Well done to Paul Masters on another great victory, also Gary Thomas coming 2nd, and Ben Newton 3rd.
