Match Introduction
This years Tri Challenge held at Hall lane on Merlin, took all by surprise, it was a very hard match with a very cold North wind blowing strong down the water, this caused people to blank and some very poor results. Even the complex record holder J P Nuggent, who stepped in to aid Dog and Partridge could only manage a third place off one of the open flyer pegs. Woolston AC proved too strong for the other clubs involved to compete with, and took the title quite easily. But the Return of Worm champ was just to much, and resulted in a great win for Marc Gaskell ERB. 2nd place fell to Woolston captain Paul Ryan. 3rd place was JP Nuggent Dog and Partridge. 4th was Alan feeder bates ERB. ERB as a whole did very well but it was not our year, next year we promise it\'s ours and will celebrate in style, but for now We\'ll done to Woolston 2018 Champs, and a huge applause to Dog and Partridge who once again finished third but always in good spirit.
